Senate confirms Dr. Erica Schwartz to become 22nd CDC director
The Senate on Wednesday confirmed Dr. Erica Schwartz as the new director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, giving the Atlanta-based public health agency its first full-time leader in nearly a year.
