President Trump made historic gains with the Hispanic community in 2024 but his party faces a difficult midterm landscape amid his administration's immigration crackdown. Republican Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar, who released an ad this week distancing herself from Mr. Trump's immigration policy, urged the president to "please preserve that fortune that you have brought to the party."
