Her body was found half-submerged at an abandoned fish farm, the sheriff said, adding that forensic tests are still incomplete but there was enough evidence to identify the body as that of Sarah Lunde.

Gee said earlier today the body was found by a search-and-rescue dog in an area that had been searched previously. The sheriff said he told Sarah's mother, Kelly May, this morning about the discovery.

"She has family around her and some friends, and it's a very difficult time," Gee said. "They're obviously very upset. They're very worried at this news."

About 200 volunteers and 100 law enforcement officers had expanded the search area Saturday to find Sarah, who has been missing for nearly a week. Gee said teams that were still in the field would finish their searches, but he would not send out any new groups.
